What is
Fine Art
Wedding Photography?
At Radcliffe & Rose, we see fine art wedding photography as an intentional approach to telling the story of your wedding day with an editorial eye and an artist’s attention to light, atmosphere and intention.
This is a walk through our vision as photographers: what we look for, how we work, and what makes our approach personal, bespoke and timelessly boutique.

Ever since its advent, photography has had what The Metropolitan Museum of Art describes as a “dual character”.
At once, photography is both a medium of artistic expression and a scientific tool.
For us, this distinction matters. A documentary approach may preserve what happened, but a fine art approach asks how the day felt, how it moves, and how its heartbeat can be held in an image.
“A great photograph is
one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.”
- Ansel Adams
